Chinese and Kenyan scientists have collaborated to launch the 23rd volume of the Flora of Kenya, marking the publication of Kenya's first national flora and addressing a gap in the country's plant resources research. The comprehensive project, a joint effort by the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Sino-Africa Joint Research Center, and the National Museums of Kenya, documents nearly 7,000 plant species from 223 families in Kenya.
