Overview:

This is in regards to a new regulation in Guangzhou effective from June 4th, 2021 onwards, stating the reward for whistle-blowers. Article Three in the regulation entails that all citizens, representatives, or other organizers should report ‘San Fei’ foreigners upon discovery. Article Five explains how the police are supposed to distribute rewards to whistle-blowers, part 1 of the article states that whenever reporting one ‘San Fei’ foreigner, the whistleblower gets 200 RMB in reward; if a case involves numerous ‘San Fei’ foreigners, the whistleblower gets 200 RMB per person, no more than 10000 RMB per case.
