This post uses figures from big data results to clear up a conception that many people in China think by asking the question: Are there many black students studying abroad in China?
"Big data shows that foreign students in China mainly come from East, South and Southeast Asian countries!
There are more than 50000 South Korean students studying in China. India, Pakistan, Thailand and the United States (estimated to have many Chinese American children). In total there are more than 20000 students studying in China. But no African country has more than 10000 students studying in China! ​"
