Overview:

China and Africa, in collaboration with scientific institutions and organizations, have introduced the "African Food Water Environment Protection and Development Science Action Plan." The initiative aims to strengthen cooperation in scientific and technological innovation between China and Africa, focusing on food production, water resource management, and biodiversity conservation from 2024 to 2027. The plan includes promoting agricultural innovation, upgrading production methods, providing technical support to farmers, and enhancing biodiversity monitoring and water resource management. Both regions plan to hold international forums every three years to assess technological applications and adjust development strategies, contributing to food security, water resource security, and biodiversity protection in Africa.
