China and South Africa are set to enhance their collaboration in space programs, with both nations finding common interests in outer space exploration. South Africa's expertise in ground tracking and control work, as well as its enthusiasm for advancing its space capabilities, makes it an ideal partner for China in lunar and deep-space explorations. The two countries have officially joined the International Lunar Research Station Program, indicating an extension of their space cooperation from near-Earth operations to lunar and deep-space missions, promoting advancements in space technology for both nations.
