In South Sudan, where temperatures can soar up to 50 degrees Celsius, China's seventh batch of peacekeeping infantry battalion operates to maintain peace and stability. The soldiers face challenges such as armed vehicles passing by daily and potential attacks. Despite the harsh conditions, the battalion has been commended multiple times for their bravery and dedication, exemplifying China's commitment to international peacekeeping efforts, especially in celebration of the 50th anniversary of its restoration of the lawful seat in the United Nations.
