Chinese Firm collaborates with charity organization to promote digital literacy for women in Kenya

Huawei has partnered with the non-profit organization MaMa Doing Good in Kenya, founded by First Lady Rachael Ruto, to provide digital skills training for women and girls. Through this collaboration, over 14,000 women's groups will receive digital skills training and devices to enhance learning and literacy. The initiative aims to empower Kenyan women, bridge the digital divide, and accelerate progress towards gender equality and shared prosperity, according to Huawei's deputy CEO in Kenya, Steven Zhang.
