Overview:

This study seeks to draw the link between online media and the discrimination and stigmatization of Africans in China during the pandemic. The study includes an analysis of how the unbalanced political economy of Sino-African relations limits the ability of African countries to pressure Beijing to take substantive proactive measures to educate its population so that deep-rooted racist attitudes towards Africa(ns) can be unlearned.
