How COVID is Affecting Foreign Students in China – Study

This article delves into the results of a study on the impact of the pandemic on international students in China. According to the study, during the beginning of the pandemic, foreign students showed panic and anxiety due to the lack of information about the virus and worries about infection. In the later part of the pandemic, the students suffered from loneliness and homesickness due to restricted local movement and international travel restrictions. It explains that language barriers and the lockdown intensified mental health struggles experienced by international students in China.
