The China Africa Leaders' Dialogue involved prominent African leaders discussing various cooperative initiatives with China. Both parties emphasized the significance of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) and pledged mutual support to strengthen trade integration, investment, and regional economic integration. China expressed support for South Africa's hosting of the "BRICS+" dialogue and supported the African Union's bid to become a full member of the G20. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to the Forum on China Africa Cooperation and highlighted cooperation in global mechanisms, including reforms in multilateral financial institutions and the United Nations Security Council.
