Kenyan county rolls out red carpet for Chinese investors
Governor Avinya Ndeti of Machakos County in Kenya has encouraged Chinese companies to invest in the county, emphasizing the conducive investment environment created by her government. Speaking at the Kenya-China Building Materials Exhibition in Athi River town, Ndeti highlighted the county's progressive policies to attract investors, aligning with the national government's agenda for economic development. Chinese officials, including Zhang Yijun from the embassy in Nairobi and Zhao Long, governor of Fujian province, expressed gratitude and interest in collaboration, aiming to bring construction products and technologies to meet local demand in Kenya.
