(Re)Centring anti-Black Racism in Africa-China Relations

Overview:

This paper seeks to critically analyse Chinese discourse on racism over time that show that anti-Black racism is part of China's world view. The author conceptualizes that Chinese anti-black racism is a particular strain of Racism with Chinese Characteristics (RCC) and that this needs to be recentered in the discourse on Sino-African relations, because it has been ignored for so long.
