Tanzanian students celebrate China’s Mid-Autumn Festival

Over 200 Tanzanian students studying the Chinese language at Baobab Secondary School in Bagamoyo District celebrated China's Mid-Autumn Festival with traditional music, dance, drama, and poetry, along with the preparation of mooncakes. The event, attended by teachers from the Confucius Institute at the University of Dar es Salaam and other guests, marked the 10th anniversary of the institute's establishment in Tanzania. The celebration not only enhanced the students' understanding of Chinese culture but also highlighted the growing interest in learning the Chinese language among Tanzanian students, encouraged by programs such as summer camps in China.
