Vice Minister Xu Ganlu Leads Delegation to Visit IOM, UNCHR and Slovakia and Attend OECD Ministerial Conference on Migration and Integration

Overview:

This report by the National Immigration Administration (NIA) sums up a meeting between the head of IOM and UNHCR, as well as NIA. The report shows China's commitment to help the two international organizations govern international migrants and refugees. The NIA also promised to step up the level of cooperation and organization to support the work of these two organizations. The vice-president of the NIA, Xu Ganlu also made some commitment to the state secretary of the Ministry of Interior of Slovakia, that China's Public Security Bureau is willing to help upgrade the level of practical cooperation in counterterrorism, security along countries under the Belt and Road Initiative, immigration administration, and combating telecom and Internet fraud.
